Excellent EXCELLENT # deserves the highest praise for ~ efforts and the way ^ has conducted himself throughout the two years. The quality of all ~ work has always been excellent and has been the leading member of the group. ^ must now do all ^ can to ensure that ^ has completed all stages of the design process with particular attention been given to the specification, planning and the evaluation and ^ must also produce a model of which can be proud. To have him in the group has been beneficial to all the other students. VERY GOOD # has been the leading member of the group and has always shown the talent and dedication needed for success. ~ classwork exercises have always achieved the highest grades and ~ coursework folio looks very promising. ^ must now do all ^ can to ensure that ^ has completed all stages of the design process, especially the specification, planning and evaluation to the same standard and that ~ finished model is worthy of a top GCSE grade. ^ has always been an outstanding and polite student VERY GOOD If anyone deserves success it is #, since coming into this class ^ has impressed with ~ mature and responsible attitude and approach. Although some of the work has been difficult, ^ has achieved a decent standard in all areas. ^ must now do all ^ can to make this hard work and effort pay by completing all stages of the design process in ~ coursework and by producing a first class model. ^ has set a fine example and I hope ^ gets what ^ deserves. VERY GOOD # has always been one of the most talented students in the group. This has been reflected in ~ classwork projects and ~ coursework folio. A top GCSE grade is ~ but only if ^ completes all stages of the design process to a high standard and before the set deadline in March. Extra care should be taken when completing ~ model as ~ making skills will eventually decide ~ grade. ^ must also remember to revise thoroughly before ~ exam. VERY GOOD # has realised that success is only achieved through hard work and effort. If ^ continues with the same enthusiasm and dedication to ~ work, ^ will be rewarded with a decent GCSE grade. ~ model looks most promising and if ^ makes sure that ^ has completed all stages of the design process to a good standard, especially the Specification, Planning and the Evaluation ^ will achieve that goal. ^ has always been a most mature and pleasant student. " Good GOOD # has continued with the same enthusiasm and dedication to ~ work and hopefully will be rewarded with a decent GCSE grade. ~ folio looks most promising, however, it is essential that ^ has completed all stages of the design process to a high standard, especially the specification, planning and evaluation, only then will ^ achieve real success. Extra care should also be given to the construction of ~ prototype. ^ has always been a most cheerful and pleasant student. ENCOURAGEMENT IMPROVED PACE # has always been a bright and cheerful student. ^ has continued to produce some pleasing graphics projects and ^ as made good progress with ~ coursework. ^ must now do all ^ can to complete all outstanding work before the deadline in March and make sure that ~ model is of a decent standard. ^ will need to add a little more pace and to check that ^ has completed all stages of the design process, especially the specification, planning and evaluation. ENCOURAGEMENT # has continued to work quietly and conscientiously throughout. All ~ remaining time and effort should now be devoted to completing ~ coursework folio and especially ~ model before the deadline in March. ^ must do ~ best to ensure that it is of a standard worthy of a decent GCSE grade. ^ has always been a most sensible and pleasant student COURSEWORK WORRIES There is no doubting # ability but there are areas of concern regarding ~ coursework. ^ can achieve a top GCSE grade if ^ is willing to devote all ~ remaining time and effort into producing a folio and a model which reflects ~ obvious ability. It will require him to plan carefully the each stage and to set ~ own deadlines. It would be a shame if ^ allows himself to achieve a mediocre result or even less! ^ has been a great help to me and the school with regards to ~ I.T. skills, try your best #. IMPROVE SKILLS # has continued to work sensibly and diligently throughout. ^ must now use ~ remaining time and effort productively, developing ~ graphical skills and completing ~ coursework folio and particularly ~ model before the March deadline. ^ must do ~ best to ensure that it is of a standard worthy of a decent GCSE grade. ^ has always been a most enthusiastic and pleasant student. TOP GRADE DOUBT # has continued to work sensibly and diligently, producing some very pleasing graphic projects. ^ must now use ~ remaining time and effort productively by completing ~ coursework folio and especially ~ model before the March deadline. ^ must do ~ best to ensure that it is of a standard worthy of a decent grade. ^ has the ability to achieve a top grade but ~ work must satisfy the assessment criteria. ^ has always been a most polite and pleasant student. STEADY PROGRESS/MORE PACE # has continued to make steady progress in most areas. If ^ wishes to achieve a decent grade ^ will have to inject more pace and effort into completing ~ coursework folio and model on time. ^ must also ensure that ^ has completed all stages of the design process, particularly the Specification, Planning and the Evaluation. ^ has the ability to achieve a top grade, it is up to him. ^ has always been a quiet and pleasant student. " Fair FAIR/ENCOURAGEMENT # has continued to make fair progress in most areas. It is now time for him to put some real effort into completing all unfinished stages of ~ coursework folio and ^ must make sure that ^ has produced a decent model of ~ final solution. I have every confidence in him to achieve all this and if ^ plans ~ time carefully, ^ will win through in the end. ^ has always been a cheerful and pleasant student, try your best #. MORE EFFORT # has produced a pleasing coursework folio but ^ had the ability to achieve so much more. At times ^ has been far too casual in ~ approach and has been very talkative. ~ exam result was disappointing and it shows that ^ has failed to revise thoroughly before ~ exam. It is still not too late to attain a top grade but ^ will have to pull out all the stops before the deadline. REVISION/PLANNING # has made very good progress and has always tried ~ best in this subject. ^ must not be too disappointed by ~ exam result but remember to revise thoroughly and to practice ~ graphical skills before ~ external examination. ^ must also ensure that all outstanding coursework especially ~ model are completed before the deadline and too a decent standard by carefully planning ~ remaining time. ^ has always been a most pleasant and cheerful pupil. REVISION/MORE EFFORT # should be well on ~ way to achieving a decent GCSE grade because of ~ obvious talent. ~ poor exam result reflects poor revision and a lack of responsibility. ^ must ensure that all outstanding coursework and especially ~ model is completed before the deadline and to a high standard by planning carefully ~ time and becoming more focussed. ^ has been a most pleasant and cheerful student. EXAM/MORE EFFORT # has been a most sensible and pleasant student but ~ exam result was disappointing. ^ has worked well in class but ^ still needs to improve ~ graphical skills and ^ must do ~ utmost to complete all stages of ~ coursework folio and ~ model before the deadline. It is not too late to achieve a decent GCSE grade but ^ must be prepared to make the effort and remember to revise thoroughly and practice ~ skills before ~ external exam. " Poor DISTRACTED BUT GOOD # has made some progress but recently ^ has allowed himself to become distracted. ^ has been a very good student in the past and I hope that ^ will get himself back on track and do all ^ can to complete any unfinished stages in ~ coursework folio. ^ must ensure that ^ has completed the specification, planning and evaluation of ~ project and that ~ model is worthy of a high mark. ^ is a sensible student who will I hope take note of these comments. ERRATIC # has put in a somewhat erratic performance. ^ has been a decent and sensible student but some of the work has proved difficult. ^ must do all ^ can to make up lost ground by devoting all ~ energies in the remaining months to completing ~ coursework folio, especially ~ model, as this will determined whether or not ^ will gain a decent GCSE grade. I would like him to succeed but ^ will really have to make the necessary effort. ABSENCE/BUT GOOD # was capable of achieving a decent grade in this subject but ^ seems to have fallen by the wayside. When in lessons ^ usually tried ~ best and ^ did show a certain amount of talent with ~ classwork graphics projects but ^ has failed to turn up for any lessons for sometime and it does seem likely that ^ will not be entered for the examination. ^ has been a sensible and intelligent student, so I am disappointed that ^ will have nothing to show for ~ efforts, which is a great pity. POOR/NOT ENTERED # would only work under constant supervision and the quality of that work could only be described as poor. ^ could have achieved a decent GCSE grade but ^ has allowed outside influences to affect ~ performance and ~ progress. ^ has failed to respond to chastisement and encouragement and as a consequence it does seem likely that ^ will not be entered for the external examination, which is a real disappointment. It would require a dramatic change of attitude and approach on ~ part for him to achieve anything worthwhile. " Comment 5 "
